Generative AI Solutions

Generative AI applications that are grounded, evaluated and secure

We build LLM-powered applications — knowledge assistants, AI search, document intelligence and content tools — grounded in your data, measured against agreed quality standards and deployed with the access controls your business needs.

What we cover

  • LLM-powered applications
  • RAG pipelines and knowledge assistants
  • Document intelligence
  • AI-powered search
  • Model, embedding and vector store selection
  • Evaluation, monitoring and access control

Outcome: Answers and content your people can check and trust.

AI Engineering

Useful generative AI starts with your data

Large language models are good with language, but they don't know your products, policies or customers — and they can state wrong answers confidently. Business value comes from connecting models to the right information, controlling who can see what, and measuring quality.

We design generative AI applications around those requirements: retrieval from approved sources, models chosen for the task, evaluation against real questions, and deployment with monitoring.

We'll also tell you when a simpler approach — better search, a rules engine or a well-designed form — would serve the need better.

Problems we solve

Sound familiar?

  • Knowledge locked in documents

Policies, manuals and past work spread across file shares, wikis and inboxes where people can't find them.

  • Answers you can't verify

AI responses with no sources, so nobody knows which ones to trust.

  • Data privacy concerns

Sensitive information that can't be sent to a public AI service without controls.

  • Prototypes that don't scale

A demo that works on twenty documents but not on twenty thousand, or not for every team.

Capabilities

What we deliver

We scope each engagement to the problem — not every project needs every capability.

Applications

LLM-powered applications built for real use

From internal assistants to customer-facing features.

  • Enterprise knowledge assistants. Assistants that answer from your policies, documentation and records, with citations to the source.
  • Summarization and content generation. Drafting summaries, reports, emails and product content with templates, style rules and review steps.
  • AI-powered search. Semantic and hybrid search that understands questions, not just keywords.

Retrieval & data

RAG pipelines grounded in your sources

Retrieval designed around your content, its structure and how often it changes.

  • RAG pipelines. Ingestion, chunking, embedding and retrieval tuned to your document types and update cycles.
  • Document intelligence. Extracting structured data from PDFs, scans, forms and contracts, with confidence scores and review queues.
  • Model and embedding selection. Comparing hosted and open-source models and embeddings on your own data for quality, latency and cost.
  • Vector databases. Choosing and running the right store — pgvector, OpenSearch or a dedicated vector database — for your scale.

Quality

Measured quality, fewer hallucinations

Quality is tested before launch and tracked after it.

  • Evaluation. Test sets built from real questions, with automated and human scoring of accuracy, grounding and tone.
  • Hallucination reduction. Retrieval tuning, citation requirements, answer constraints and refusing to answer when sources don't support a reply.
  • Monitoring. Tracking quality, user feedback, latency and cost in production, and feeding failures back into the test set.

Security & deployment

Private where it needs to be

Deployment options that match your data requirements.

  • Data privacy and access control. Retrieval that respects document-level permissions, and redaction of sensitive data before it reaches a model.
  • Private and enterprise deployments. Models in your own cloud tenant through Azure OpenAI or AWS Bedrock, or open-source models on your infrastructure.
  • Deployment and monitoring. Containerized services, CI/CD, logging and alerting, built to the same standard as the rest of your platform.

Use cases

Where it makes a difference

Typical scenarios, to show the kind of work involved.

  • Policy and procedure assistant

Staff ask questions in plain language and get answers with links to the exact policy section.

  • Customer-facing answers

A help experience that answers from product documentation and hands off to support when it can't.

  • Contract and invoice processing

Key terms and fields extracted from documents, validated and sent to the systems that need them.

  • Research and report drafting

First drafts of summaries and reports assembled from approved sources, ready for expert review.

  • Enterprise search

One search across SharePoint, Confluence, file shares and ticket history that respects existing permissions.

How we deliver

From first conversation to production

  1. Use case & data review

Confirm the problem, the users, the sources and the data rules.

  2. Prototype on real data

Build a working version on a representative sample of your content.

  3. Evaluate

Measure accuracy, grounding and failure modes against real questions.

  4. Harden

Add access control, scale, cost controls and monitoring.

  5. Deploy

Release to users in stages, with feedback built into the interface.

  6. Monitor & improve

Track quality and cost in production and keep improving the test set.

Built for production

Security, scale and operations

  • Data privacy

We agree which data may be processed by which model, and keep sensitive workloads on private endpoints or self-hosted models.

  • Access control

Users only retrieve content they are already allowed to see; the AI layer never widens access.

  • Reliability

Answers cite their sources, and the system says when it doesn't know rather than guessing.

  • Cost control

Caching, model routing and token budgets keep running costs predictable as usage grows.

Engagement options

Work with us the way that fits

We'll recommend a model after the first conversation.

  • Fixed-price

A defined scope and budget for a clear deliverable — ideal for builds, migrations and assessments.

  • Time & materials

Flexible capacity, invoiced monthly, for work where the scope will evolve as you learn.

  • Dedicated team

A full-time pod embedded with your team for long-running products and platforms.

  • Outcome-based

Fees tied to the KPIs we agree up front, where the result can be measured cleanly.

FAQ

Common questions

Something else? Ask our team

What is retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)?

RAG retrieves relevant passages from your own content and gives them to the model with the question, so answers are based on your information rather than the model's general training. It also lets the application cite its sources.

Can we use generative AI without sending data to a public service?

Yes. Options include enterprise model endpoints in your own cloud tenant, such as Azure OpenAI or AWS Bedrock, and open-source models hosted on your infrastructure. The right choice depends on your data, quality needs and budget.

How do you reduce hallucinations?

By grounding answers in retrieved sources, requiring citations, constraining answers to what the sources support, and testing against question sets that include cases where the right answer is “I don't know”.

Which model should we use?

We compare candidate models on your own data and tasks, then weigh quality against latency, cost and data requirements. Many applications use more than one model for different steps.

How do you measure quality?

With an evaluation set built from real questions and expected answers, scored automatically and by reviewers, plus user feedback and monitoring once the application is live.
